Taken by fate

a love now gone

a heart once full

now sings a melancholy song

the laughter’s echo

the touch

the smile

Yet memories still linger

only for a while

tears falling like rain

seeking solace

I find only pain

now empty space

where you once stood

a hole in my heart

nobody understood

But in the darkness

there is a spark of light

your spirit still shining so bright.

In unreplaceable moments

I hold you dear

in memories, affection conquers fear

you’re gone but are not wholly lost

until we meet again

that far-off day
